Moving a date #
Open the page, change Unlock Date & Time in the Time Lock Content panel, and update. The new date takes effect at once: anybody sitting on the page sees the new countdown after their next reload.
Opening something early #
Two ways, and they differ in what happens next time.
- Set the unlock date to now or the past. The content opens and the lock stays configured, so the page still appears on the All Time Locks screen as unlocked. Good when you may want to reuse the schedule next cohort.
- Switch off Enable Time Lock. The lock stops applying entirely and the page leaves the All Time Locks list. Your dates and message are kept, so switching it back on restores them.
Locking something again #
Set the unlock date to a future date on a page that has already opened, and it locks again immediately — visitors go back to the card and the countdown. Useful for taking a lesson down between cohorts.
In days-after-registration mode this works differently, because each person’s clock is their own: raising the number of days re-locks the content for anybody who has not yet passed the new figure, and leaves everyone else with access.
Removing a lock for good #
- Open the page and the Time Lock Content panel.
- Switch off Enable Time Lock.
- Update the page.
For a section locked with the Time Lock block, select the block and remove it — but use Remove block from the block’s own menu carefully: it takes the content inside with it. To keep that content, drag it out of the block first, or use the block’s options to keep the inner blocks.
Deactivating the plugin #
Deactivating stops every lock at once and shows all content to everybody. Nothing is deleted: your dates, messages and settings are still there when you activate it again. It is the safe first move when you are troubleshooting a theme or builder conflict.
Content locked with the block behaves the same way — with the plugin inactive the block’s inner content renders as ordinary content.
